Kinetic Green targets Rs 10,000 cr revenue with new platforms, B2C focus

Kinetic Green is gearing up to shift from its established B2B model to a broader B2C approach. At a media briefing, Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani shared the company’s growth strategy, with a focus on impact, disruption, reach, and scale, as it aims to lead the rapidly expanding green mobility sector in India. Motwani added that the company is aiming for a Rs 10,000 crore revenue by 2030, with 60 percent of that coming from its two-wheeler segment.

The company, at present, focuses on two-wheeler and three-wheeler segments – both of which are at the forefront of the EV revolution in India. She also spoke about the company’s two platforms in the electric three-wheeler space, both of which have been designed with scalability, efficiency, and durability in mind.

Kinetic Green’s L3 platform, according to Motwani, has already gained a solid foothold in the market. This low-speed electric three-wheeler is designed for city use and offers a range of configurations, including passenger vehicles, cargo solutions, and custom applications. Motwani highlighted that this platform is fully engineered in India, FAME compliant, and comes equipped with fixed and swappable battery options. Speaking on subsidies, Motwani stated that while subsidies benefit the sector, the company’s business model doesn’t rely on them. “Our two- and three-wheeler platforms are designed with flexible battery options to minimize subsidy dependency.”
On the other hand, Kinetic Green’s more advanced L5 platform is aimed at delivering higher performance. Motwani revealed that the L5, which features a speed of around 60 kmph, comes with improved technology such as PMSM motor technology, hydraulic brakes, and independent suspension – offering a car-like driving experience. This platform is built for heavier payloads, with a capacity of up to 500 kg. It is also equipped with ultra-fast charging capabilities to enhance operations.

Besides these, Motwani also revealed the company’s plan to introduce new two-wheeler models based on the eLuna platform.

The company’s ambitious target of achieving a Rs 10,000 crore topline by 2030 is bolstered by its strong market position in the rapidly growing EV sector. Kinetic Green achieved Rs 300 crore in revenue last year and targets Rs 900 crore this year, with two-thirds coming from the two-wheeler segment.
“Impact, disruption, reach, and scale—that’s what drives us every day,” said Motwani. With 60 percent of this revenue expected to come from two-wheelers, Kinetic Green is betting big on this segment.
