Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) officers are following leads with the hope of arresting suspects who hijacked a couple, drove away with them and later raped the driver’s wife.
The horrific incident happened on Friday night in Proclamation Hill, Pretoria West.

“The members made a follow-up and managed to locate the vehicle. It was found deserted in Saulsville, Pretoria West. The suspects were not found. A case of hijacking, kidnapping and rape was opened with the South African Police Service,” Mahamba added.
“We are following leads that might lead us to apprehend the suspects. The department appeals to the members of the public who might have any information regarding this incident to contact the nearest police station and TMPD. We will not rest until these suspects are found and arrested,” Mahamba said.
