The Green Cab is a transport solution that empowers women by placing them in the driving seat of electric vehicles and fighting gender-based violence.

The business, based in Cape Town, originally used cars with internal combustion engines (powered by petrol or diesel), which had been fitted with technologies to reduce pollution.

But it is now shifting to fully operated electric vehicles.
