Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has presented their 23rd, 24th and 25tg witnesses before the Presidential Election Petition Court sitting at the Court of Appeal headquarters in Abuja.

On Monday, the counsel to Mr Atiku and the PDP, Charles Edosawwa, called subpoenaed witnesses: Janet Nultu Turaki from Yobe state; Christopher Bulus Arudo from Bauchi state; and Victoria Sani from Niger state to testify against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

All the witnesses who worked as INEC adhoc staff during the presidential election said they were able to conduct the election peacefully and in accordance with the commission’s guidelines but said they were unable to transmit election results from their BVAS machines as stipulated.

The continuation of hearing of witnesses has been adjourned until tomorrow, June 20, by presiding Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani.
