The Germiston pupil who shot and wounded a principal at a Gauteng school last week, had also planned to kill the deputy principal and his class teacher, Education MEC Matome Chiloane has alleged.
Briefing the media during a visit to the school on Monday, Chiloane said the plan had apparently been outlined in a WhatsApp group created by pupils at Primrose Primary School, where the shooting occurred.
“His friends say the shooting was planned for a while. Parents and teachers didn’t pick it up. It is worrying. There was also a WhatsApp group by pupils where the plan was communicated,” he claimed.
