Bendancer is from a Christian home, and that has taught him to see life from the a different perspective of spirituality which has been the basics of his purpose, which is dance; changing  lives with his spiritual gift to give hope. While growing up as a child, he loved music, and movement, so he discovered that he got the Rhythm and skills, and began to develop them at a younger age of 10.  While interacting with POINTERS correspondent, the dancer said:

At the age of Ten  I use to watch videos of the pop star, Micheal Jackson, P-Square, Usher, Fela and his dancers. Growing up was not easy too for me, because there was no internet availability, mentorship, and exposure, my parents never supported my career, and because I was from the north, my style of dance was rare and so no one really supported me, so it was not easy for me. However, along the line I was able to gain exposure and experience to become better.

My style is so unique and special because for me the spiritual depth and the positive energy that comes from within, I pass message and tell stories through my dance and that makes it unique.

While still recounting his childhood experience, the dancer noted that his parents had always wanted their children to have the best of education. “so after my primary education at St. James Catholic school, Gombe, I proceeded to my secondary school, after that I attended an online school SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE; a contemporary dance course. Then worked with some dance companies like D ANGELZ DANCE CREW IN JOS, OXYXEN ACADEMY IN ADAMAWA STATE. I am also one of the major dance pioneer of dance in northern Nigeria. I realized I could use my talent as a means to earn a good living and impact my generation positively” he said.
