2025 Jeep Meridian launched in India at Rs 24.99 lakh: Here’s what’s new

Jeep India has finally launched the new and updated 2025 Jeep Meridian SUV in the Indian market. The facelifted model gets minor cosmetic changes, additional features, and new variants and is also offered with a 5-seater configuration. Interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest dealership and deliveries will begin by the end of October.

The 2025 Jeep Meridian is offered in four variants – Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O) and Overland with prices ranging from Rs 24.99 lakh to Rs 36.49 lakh (ex-showroom).In contrast to the earlier model, the refreshed Meridian is available in both 5-seater and 7-seater options, resulting in a significant reduction in the starting price by Rs 6.24 lakh. The entry-level Longitude trim is offered only as a 5-seater, while all other variants get both seating options.

New Meridian interior

Talking about the exterior updates, the 2025 Meridian features a redesigned front grille and the honeycomb mesh in the seven-slat grille now has chrome studs. It also gets newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. Other exterior highlights include sleek LED headlamps, wraparound LED taillights, sharkfin antenna, skid plates and chrome surrounds all around.
Moving inside, the overall layout remains the same as the old model but it gets a new suede finish with copper stitching. It also gets new beige upholstery for the seats and the chrome strip underlining on the dashboard has been replaced with one that’s finished in copper. It continues to get a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 9-speaker Alpine audio system, wireless charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats.

Interior layout

The biggest addition is the inclusion of the Level 2 ADAS features which include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning lane keep assist and a lot more. Other safety features include a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, six airbags, hill hold assist, traction control, TPMS, electric parking brake and much more.

Mechanically, the SUV remains the same. It continues to get Fiat Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine which puts out 170 hp power and 370 nm torque. Gearbox options include a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic. It also continues to get 4×4 with multiple terrain modes and a low-range mode.
