Portable, the controversial singer, has announced his forthcoming extended play titled ‘Chosen One’.
The singer also took to his Instagram page to tease a song from the yet-to-be-released project.
Portable, born Habeeb Okikiola, accompanied the post with an artwork inspired by the viral ‘I am a Chosen’ trend.
In the track, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ hitmaker boasted of funding Christian and Islamic activities. He also claimed his contributions would secure his place in heaven.
“I’ve been to church where they wear casual dress/ I’ve been to a white garment church/ I’ve attended Cherubim, rolled on the floor/ Even though you attend Celestial you may not become a celeb/ I am a glory of the celestial/ Be careful/ I’ve rang bell for seven churches/ I’ve attended seven churches/ I’ve been to seven mountains/ Shouted seven hallelujah,” he sings in a mixture of Yoruba and English language.
“I bought instruments for churches/ My life will be good/ God of Osoffa do not let me be hot by world arrow/ I’ve helped in the construction of churches/ I’ve helped provided light for churches and mosques/ I will make heaven.”
Portable gained fame in December 2021 with his hit single ‘Zazoo Zeh,’ featuring Olamide and Poco Lee. Since then, he has remained in the public eye for controversial reasons.
