A Grade 6 pupil was arrested after shooting the principal of Primrose Primary School.
Relatives of the Primrose Primary School pupil who allegedly shot and wounded his principal say the boy’s father, whose gun was used, is “traumatised” and “shocked”.
The 50-year-old father, who can’t be named to protect the identity of his son, made his first appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
Dressed in a denim shirt and matching pants, he entered the court accompanied by relatives. He was released on R1 000 bail at the Bedfordview police station immediately after his arrest on 16 February.
