Newest evicted BBNaija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Benjamin Olufemi, popularly known as Ben, has shared the reasons behind his decision to move from the UK to participate in the show.
It would be recalled that Ben was evicted from the 9th season of the show on Sunday, losing out on his chances to win the N100M grand prize.
During a media interview on Wednesday, the ex-housemate revealed that his primary goal was to leverage the Big Brother platform to promote his nightlife business.
Debunking claims of being a 9-5er, Ben affirmed that he is a permanent resident of the United Kingdom.
“First and foremost, I’m not doing a 9 to 5 job. Tjay reached out to me and said let us pair together. So if I was doing a 9 to 5 or under a student’s visa, I would not have come.
“But I’m a permanent resident in the UK, so nightlife is on the weekend. I came for Big Brother to push my nightlife 100%. To sell myself. I tell people that I organise parties, and people would come to my parties.
“People now even use the tagline number, Action Ben, no party. But the most difficult part for me was I had to pay all my bills before coming,” he stated.
